What we can and cannot clean in a condo
This distinction matters and most companies gloss over it. In a Mississauga high-rise, your suite has a fan coil unit and short duct runs feeding your rooms. Those are yours, and those are what we clean.
The vertical risers that run floor to floor and connect every suite in the stack belong to the condo corporation. They are cleaned on the building's own schedule, by a contractor the board hires, and no individual owner can book that work.
If a company quotes you to clean "the whole system" in a condo suite, they either do not understand the building or they are selling you something they cannot deliver.
Why City Centre suites need it more than owners expect
Fan coil units run nearly year-round in a high-rise, they sit in a closet with limited airflow around them, and their filters are small and easy to forget. Suites near Square One and along the Hurontario corridor also pull in a steady load of road and construction dust.
Practical notes
- Most buildings want the elevator booked — tell us and we will work to your slot
- Typical suite takes 45 to 60 minutes
- We bring floor protection; nothing gets tracked through a shared corridor
- If your board requires a certificate of insurance, ask and we will send it ahead
Questions
Can duct cleaning be done in a condo?
Yes, but only the in-suite portion. In most Mississauga high-rises we clean your fan coil unit, its coil and drain pan, and the short runs feeding your rooms.
The vertical risers that connect all the suites belong to the condo corporation, not to you, and are cleaned on the building's own schedule. Any company quoting you to clean "the whole system" in a condo suite is either misunderstanding the building or overselling.
